On 12th November, in conjunction with the London Group Open 2023 exhibition at Copeland Gallery, I had the privilege of giving a talk about my work and practice along with 5 other artists. It was a very enjoyable and fascinating event. It was so good to share thoughts about what I do and really stimulating to hear the other artists, from a diverse range of practices talk about what they do, complimenting and contrasting with each other in quite a special way.
The London Group Open is a very special exhibition and I am delighted to have been selected to take part and indeed, to have been asked to present a talk.

On 27th October, I had the pleasure of being one half of an ‘In Conversation’ event with Elaine Blake, the Curator at Reading Museum. An event for guests and trustees of the wonderful Reading Foundation for Art. Since its creation, the RFA have been instrumental in purchasing important works of art for the museum.
Elaine and I talked about many of the works in the exhibition 'Abstract Art', currently at the Sir John Madejski Art Gallery, in Reading Museum , which includes pieces by some seminal British artists, many of which the RFA has helped to acquire for the Museum. We discussed works by Wilhelma Barns-Graham, Jean Spencer, Prunella Clough, Berenice Sydney, Albert Irvin, Terry Frost, John Piper, Steve Buckley, Alan Davie and others…
It’s a wonderful exhibition, that I am delighted to have work in.
The exhibition continues to April 2023. Entrance to Reading Museum is free.
